Tetons part 4 of 6: Middle Teton Aug 3, 2007

Part1 Part2 Part3 Part4 Part5 Part6

Waking up

taking in the morning view

the view of Disappointment Peak (home of Irene's Arete) from
South Fork of Garnet Canyon
see if you can spot the pair of tetons in this picture

I'm barely visible but here I am filtering and zapping the day's water with
the steripen, perhaps the handiest, most weight saving piece of gear
I had on the road trip.

If you ever get one of these, consider getting the filter attachment too.
It really makes life *alot* easier.

here goes!

Mantle, mantle, stem, stem... it ain't exactly parkour,
but it was incredibly fun to go up the Middle T this way!

Found: booty cam!

The Grand, as seen from the Middle Teton Summit

Going back via the rubbly trail wasn't as much fun as soloing up off trail
