DC to Vedauwoo in under 36 hours

After getting a big fat speeding ticket in the speed traps of I-80 in Western Nebraska, I made it to Cheyenne last night!

Tried to find a motel to crash but everything was booked due to
Frontier Days.

So I hopped in the car ready to head toward Laramie. Earlier that evening, some girl at a motel lobby said that there were "mountains" 10 miles before Laramie.

Those "mountains" turned out to be Vedauwoo.

After spending a few hours in Cheyenne, I ended up sleeping by this sign in Vedauwoo:

and in the morning I went to check out this area:

This area of Vedauwoo is a bit like Picasso meets Joshua Tree:

bent-knee stemming a typical Vedauwoo off width
